Develop rhythm, reading, and ensemble skills through the use of everyday objects alongside the piano. This camp is for students who want to do a lot of playing and a lot of making. The week will culminate in an instrument-building workshop using repurposed items gathered from a walking field trip to East Bay Creative Use Depot. Students will leave with their own homemade instruments, excellent ensemble skills, and a hands-on understanding of the physics of sound. This piano-themed music fundamentals camp is appropriate for beginners and continuing students alike. Ages 5-10, no experience necessary
